چکیده
Objective: Liver cancer is one of the most common causes death, with reduced survival rates. The development new chemotherapeutic agents essential to find effective cytotoxic drugs that give minimum side effects surrounding healthy tissues. main objective present study was evaluate and mechanism cell death induced by crude diethyl ether extract Xylocarpus mouccensis on human hepatocellular carcinoma line. Methods: cytotoxicity activity measured using MTS assay. mode determined apoptosis study, DNA fragmentation analysis done TUNEL system. pathway or observed caspases 8, 9, 3/7 Glo-caspases method. Results: In this methanol extracts prepared from leaf produced effect IC50 (72hr) < 30µg/ml. value at 72 hours exerted moluccensis 0.22 µg/ml, which more than extract. results obtained colorimetric system suggest (leaf), (leaf) granatum (bark) in HepG2 Besides, caspase-Glo assay demonstrated triggered apoptotic via activation -8, -3/7 However, no visible noticed for caspase -9. Furthermore, TLC indicates presence potential metabolites an moluccensis. Conclusion: Thus, suggests remarkable active as a future therapeutic agent treatment cancer.

متن کاملSynergistic complex from plants Solanaceae exhibits cytotoxicity for the human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG2
BACKGROUND It had been demonstrated that sugars from various plants can act as potent agents, which induce apoptosis of cancer cells. METHODS Using HPLC, we fractionated a mixture of two plant extracts from the plant family Solanaceae, namely Capsicum chinense and the plant family Amaryllidaceae namely Allium sativum. We evaluated the effect of different fractions on apoptosis of HepG2 cell l...

Black seed (Nigella sativa) is considered as a biological response modifier. Thymoquinone (TQ) is the bioactive and the most abundant constituent of the volatile oil of this seed which has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-neoplastic effects. In this study, the effect of TQ on HepG2 cell line was investigated in an attempt to identify its potential mechanism of actio...

متن کاملGinkgetin induces apoptosis in 786-O cell line via suppression of JAK2-STAT3 pathway
Objective(s): Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is insensitive to conventional chemotherapy. Ginkgetin effectively treats several carcinoma cells. However, little is known about effects of Ginkgetin on RCC. In the present study, using 786-O cells, we evaluate whether Ginkgetin exerts anticancer effects against RCC. Materials and Methods: 786-O cells suspended in the medium containing Ginkgetin were c...
